Having Spent Over 20 Years
For over 20 years Marcus and Tenniel have assisted hundreds of clients to effectively manage their finances, resolve communication challenges, grow their wealth, and achieve optimal health. In 2013, they opened Browns Consulting an organization aimed at improving the lives of others through the provision of skills, support, and information about how best to manage financial, emotional, physical and relational health.
Marcus Brown
Financial Coach
For over 20 years, Marcus Brown has been involved in growing and sustaining many
successful small businesses and increasing wealth for his clients. Marcus is an
experienced financial coach specialized in financial advising, financial management, wealth building, strategic planning, training, and fiscal responsibility. He is an engaging and thought-provoking speaker who uses the power of storytelling and comedy to connect with participants and foster deep learning. Marcus’s professional experience from various industries and lived experience as a Black trans-identified man provides a unique and vital perspective to creating inclusive spaces for marginalized people. Marcus specializes in offering professional consulting and speaking services on topics related to trans inclusion, transitioning at work and anti-racism.
Tenniel Brown
Communication Consultant
For many years, Tenniel Brown, B.A., M.S.W. has been committed to providing accessible and transformative services to many diverse individuals, families, and groups across Canada. Tenniel studied counseling, developmental psychology, and psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University where she earned a master of social work degree. She has worked in the area of mental health, interpersonal communication, and developmental psychology for over 10 years. She is a certified Hatha yoga instructor specialized in partner yoga and stress reduction techniques. Through many years of experiences as a therapist, educator, and speaker, Tenniel has developed a unique approach that effectively tackles professional and personal communication challenges, whilst strengthening and growing relationships.
